Strawberry-banana shake with homemade yogurt

The street is already warm enough, and you can treat yourself necks! So delicious, fragrant, fresh!

Neck - is blended from several ingredients of cocktails. Cook them incredibly easy and fun. Most often, cervical made with the addition of dairy products, fruits, berries and ice. Sometimes there are neck-based ice cream.

It is best to use natural yoghurt. I make yogurt itself using a special device - yogurt. It turns out delicious homemade yogurt, no sugar, preservatives and other nasty things, which are crammed with yogurt factory.

Cook yogurt in such a device is very simple. It is necessary to heat the milk to room temperature, add the starter (you can buy in the supermarket or pharmacy, or a jar of natural yoghurt (Greek), with no additives, stir, pour into jars, put in the yogurt, turn the unit on, and leave for 8-12 hours.

If you do not have such a device, or you do not plan to buy it, buy in supermarkets only natural plain yogurt, you can still find the name - Greek.


(2 servings):

- 1.5 Banana
- 300g frozen strawberries (I take the frozen strawberry puree)
- 500g natural yoghurt *
- mint leaves, ground almonds for decoration

* Can be taken in place of milk or yogurt kefir. What kind of dairy product you will use depends on the consistency of the future of the neck.


Banana peel and cut into slices. Fold into a flat container and place in freezer for at least 2 hours.

Put frozen banana into a blender, add frozen strawberries and pour yogurt.

Chop in a blender until smooth cocktail. If necessary, add more yogurt or milk. Sheik consistency should be quite thick.

Pour into tall glasses, garnish with mint leaves and ground almonds. Serve immediately.

PS The strawberry season use fresh berries. In the heat, add the ice cubes neck. On request, prepare a shake with berries and other - for example, with raspberries and blueberries.
